We're seeing, and catching, lots of billfish with a good mix of tuna and dorado since the latter part of July. August is proving to be the true start of outstanding fishing in Cabo San Lucas. Several large blue marlin have come into the spread with a few over 500 pounds striking trolled lures or live bait. We're also seeing a fair share of wahoo when trolling at higher speeds. Inshore, roosterfish are making a good showing and when the current isn't too stiff, bottom fish like snappers (pargo) are testing angler skills. Tournament season is coming up soon.
